Nhlanhla “Lucky” Mncwabe
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
A qualified filmmaker and entrepreneur. Nhlanhla leads company strategy, business development, media and partnerships — and is usually the person a new client speaks to first.
Powered by Purpose. Built by Vision.
A growing South African company providing business services, fashion solutions, media support, maintenance services and community-impact projects from Imbali, Pietermaritzburg.
Who we are
Dukanezwe Corporation began in 2020 as Suray Clothing Line — one donated sewing machine, one old laptop and one donated printer. In 2025 we re-registered as Dukanezwe Corporation because the vision had outgrown the name.
Today we run five divisions from Imbali Unit 2: digital and business support, fashion and garment production, our own streetwear label, media and content, and maintenance services. Alongside them we run three community projects, because a company that grows while its community stands still has not really grown.
Our divisions
Each one stands on its own. Together they mean a client can walk in with a CV to type and walk out having sorted a company registration, a logo and a uniform order.
Printing, CVs, company registrations, CIPC, graphic design, business plans and everything a small business needs to look and act official.
See services Division 02Alterations, custom clothing, traditional outfits, T-shirt printing and bulk garment production, run by a qualified fashion designer.
See services Our own labelOur flagship streetwear brand. Born local, worn with pride — township culture, hustle and confidence, made wearable.
See the brand Division 03Photography, videography, event coverage, promotional videos and community storytelling, led by a qualified filmmaker.

Why Dukanezwe
You do not need four different suppliers. Registration, branding, uniforms and the video to launch it can all come from one place.
Our fashion work is led by a qualified fashion designer and our media work by a qualified filmmaker. The skills are real.
Based in Imbali Unit 2, not commuting in. We understand township budgets, timelines and how business actually gets done here.
Two numbers, WhatsApp and email. You speak to the people who do the work, not a queue.
A registered company (2025/156755/07) that can invoice properly, quote formally and work with schools, businesses and sponsors.
Our community projects are funded by the work we do. Choosing us puts something back into the neighbourhood.

Our story
A company built from humble beginnings, with a serious long-term vision. This is where we come from and where we are going.
The beginning
Dukanezwe Corporation was founded by two brothers from Imbali: Nhlanhla “Lucky” Mncwabe and Anele Mncwabe.
In 2020 the company opened as Suray Clothing Line. There was no startup capital. There was one donated printer, one old laptop and one donated sewing machine. Every job was done with what was already in the room.
Work came in. Then different kinds of work came in — CVs, posters, company registrations, photography, painting. By 2025 the name no longer described the company, so it was re-registered as Dukanezwe Corporation, with the divisions properly separated and a vision written down.
Today we operate from rented backrooms in Imbali Unit 2: one room for business and digital services, one room for fashion production, and one that is still home. We say this openly, because it is the point. Growth is something you can watch happen.
The road so far
Two brothers, one donated sewing machine and a printer. Clothing, alterations and whatever else paid the bills.
Re-registered as a corporation (2025/156755/07) with five divisions, a team and a written long-term plan.
Three community projects running alongside the business, and a fashion label of our own being built for the years ahead.
Vision
To build a respected South African corporation that creates work, skills and opportunity in the communities it comes from — not somewhere else, and not later.
Mission
To deliver practical, affordable and professional services that move people and small businesses forward, while building brands and community programmes that outlast us.

What we do
Five divisions covering business support, fashion, media and maintenance. If you are not sure which one you need, send us a WhatsApp and we will point you.
Our daily engine and the local business-support hub of Imbali Unit 2. Documents, design, registrations and everything in between — walk in, or send it on WhatsApp.
The fashion and production arm of the company, led by a qualified fashion designer. From a single hem to a bulk uniform order.
Born Local. Worn With Pride.
Swag By Suray is our own clothing label under Dukanezwe House of Fashion — not alterations, not uniforms. It is a premium but wearable South African streetwear brand drawn from township culture, hustle, ambition and confidence. It carries the name the company started with in 2020, and it is being built to stand on its own.
Photography, film and content, led by a qualified filmmaker. The same division that documents Hustlers Blueprint, the Future Leaders Tour and Community Games.
Our youngest division. We take on what we can do properly, quote honestly, and grow the offering as the team and equipment grow.

Community
Three initiatives that sit alongside the business: supporting small traders, reaching learners in schools, and getting children playing together again.
Project 01
A community-impact and brand-building project that finds hardworking entrepreneurs and small businesses, helps them with basic branding and exposure, and documents their stories.
It is often mistaken for a content project. It is not. The video is the by-product — the purpose is a trader who now has a logo, a photo people share, and customers who know their name.
It also keeps us close to the businesses around us, which is how relationships and work find each other.
Where we are heading
Project 02
Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders Today
Dream. Lead. Build.
A youth empowerment and school outreach initiative. We visit schools and speak to learners honestly — about where we started, what we got wrong, and what is actually possible from where they are sitting.
Each visit covers personal storytelling, career awareness, entrepreneurship, leadership, and an open question-and-answer session where learners do most of the talking.
Where we are heading
Project 03
Play. Compete. Grow.
A youth and community engagement initiative built around simple, safe and inexpensive games. Children take part, neighbours come out to watch, and for an afternoon the street belongs to the kids again.
The purpose is not entertainment. It is confidence, friendships, teamwork and the kind of memories that make a child feel they belong somewhere.
